Scruton’s gorgeous gothic creations throughout the series immediately helped orient viewers within the Addams world while expanding that world to include the Addams-adjacent Nevermore Academy as well as the too-perfect town of Jericho. Translating that world from its primary residence in Burton’s mind largely fell to production designer Mark Scruton.
